A good thought re: pinkwashing

Ah, that's why the Nats are so keen on that Weeded Out script, despite having qualms with my life and how I conduct my affairs. It's a lot cheaper to fund me than it is to pay for a whole bunch of trans-qualified and (ideally) trans counselors. Reminds me a bit of the cynical PR of Jacinda-era Labour. - How many thousands of clinical psychologists are we currently short? 7,000 or something similar, if I remember correctly. That's what would really help our communities. I think my recent dramas with attempting to find a counselor show how difficult it is, and also how having counselors who aren't au fait with gender-diverse people and our issues is detrimental to resolving our traumas. I remain resolved that real political protest is what will result in change. However, if people choose to interpret my Weeded Out script as a 'how-to' guide on how to work with me, they can; I think they're finding that I'm far nastier than Tina. That's why I talk about feeling dehumanised by all the drama that ended up happening to me when I chose to express myself in the way that I had always dreamed of. Cis people want me to be a star, but that's because they'd rather that I wasn't political. I think AMPP has real potential, while I think that people who can't tolerate me shouldn't be allowed to listen to me play. That's totally fair. ✊ - If they're not willing to let me wear women's clothes in public, then they're a) probably discriminating against me, which is illegal. b) closet cases or chasers who fetishise me, or c) bigots. I'm very protective of my IP, and that's working well. My books are my future plans, and then that tour of the Pacific Islands that I keep mentioning. 🐝

I watched the trilogy again now that I'm advertising it. Overall, it's quite good, but there's enough flaws in each film to drag it below...
