Climate change isn't our nuclear moment

Climate change isn't like the bomb: it's already occurring. We've already entered the Anthropocene, and we're already feeling the effects. I think it's easy to confuse the existential threat of aging with the existential threat of feeling like the species itself might die. I think humanity is stubborn, and has survived previous climate change events. It's really our quality of life that we're keen to preserve. We'll still eke out lives in the future, but they might be really shit, and that's what all our parents feel guilty about.
