Yes, we underpaid pretty much everyone who ever worked for us, but everyone knew that, and we wrote very generous back-end deals. And, to be fair, I worked for weed on a bunch of projects; it's a systemic issue, and it suggests that the low-end independent film industry isn't getting the support it requires from the Film Commission. My twin crunched the numbers and did all the major research on the Commission, but it certainly ticks us off that they over-invest in short films, while there's yet to be a replacement for the Escalator funds. Those funded Fantail and Housebound, which were two of the stronger NZ films of the 2010's. - How much money did I make from the Daktory: $0. Seriously. Someone from WETA bought the house when Stephen sold it, but it wasn't like PJ himself bought it or anything... we've just been coat-tailing off his success like every other filmmaker in NZ. How much money have I invested into Weeded Out: well, the Auckland episode cost $1000, the title sequence probably cost $1000 (months of work, but I'm just talking AI costs), and I've been making the docuseries since 2018. So, probably $30,000 or more: rent, living expenses, cameras and phones, a new laptop, guitar strings... Make It Legal made me shell out for my own billboard, both IRL and online - it adds up quickly. - For my more privileged enemies: imagine if every time you got funded, instead you'd had someone slam the door in your face. 🤳 That's my career. The only funding I've gotten is from eccentric old people.

An Open Letter re: the Olga Riddell Trust

This letter is written openly so that my position is clear, consistent, and not misrepresented. My brother and I were removed as discretionary beneficiaries of the Olga Riddell Trust by a deed dated 1

Amanda vs. her relatives in Waikato

One more point: if your father had died, and you had been blocked from inheriting, then how would you have felt? That's what you did to me, Uncle. Hence why I ignored you when you called me a bunch

After the Stuff snafu, I had around $20,000 left in my account. That disappeared within 18 months.
