Nostalgia for the past

That's the meat of the bullshit that VUW has tried to ladle onto my plate.

Presuming their bullshit is for real and they expect, nay, demand that I return to film some type of version of the Weeded Out screenplay, here is my answer. 1. VUW is clearly a profit machine, not a pure and brilliant shining light of pure research. In fact, VUW, is trying to make this film to soften the blow that they're closing a lot of arts and humanities departments to lessen their deficit. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/498474/devastated-victoria-university-axes-229-jobs-and-six-courses

  1. VUW didn't pay for Weeded Out to exist, unless they were somehow involved in running the Treehouse course that I took via MSD. https://treehouse.org.nz/

  2. Miramar Creative might be a wonderful facility, but I refuse to work with students because I'm 30 and I've managed to make a career as a director largely in spite of the contempt that many people on the faculty have for my music and my films.

  3. If you want me to do other things than moon about Chloe, how about giving me a realistic chance to finish my Shipwrecked draft, finish my novella draft, film one of those short films and to get that apology I want from Nadine and Tory?

That's a realistic summer schedule. How about actually helping me to get a contract to rewrite one of the scripts while you're at it?

  4. Not one faculty member has apologised to me for believing that Jake was justified in assaulting me because my clothes were too slutty. Salina had a golden opportunity in 2023, and she still hasn't. NZSM faculty members are still trying to tell me that I need to dry out, even though they only started liking me and my music after I started smoking dope.

  5. I'm inclined to believe that VUW was one of the many groups that spread transphobia and misinformation with their reckons about my identity. I expect an apology, but the cease and desist letters are the ones that count. Any further attempts to tell me to do 'untitled' and 'be Tina and it'll be ok' will be met with some form of legal action. I established three things this year: 1. That nobody else had access to the WriterDuet document that the Weeded Out screenplay was exported from. (well, no legal access*) 2. That it took almost 2 years to write that draft, and that each moment of that process was able to be meticulously proven. 3. That there is no evidence of a contract promising to deliver the film. There might be some kind of implied agreement from the hui, but I released six episodes of that webseries and not one producer emailed me. There is no contract regarding the IP. There is no contract regarding the songs.

    - These three things, taken in context with the previous five points, make it impossible for anybody to make that film unless they do a deal with me.

I've set very clear terms and conditions. All they've gotta find is the guts to email me.

Don't toy with me on this: you have no evidence that it's a good idea.

In fact, we have evidence that pressure to be Tina brought on the breakdown that got me in trouble. There's doctor's statements from the ED and mental health session notes.

This was never about evidence. This was about the exercise of power and influence.

Well, I hope you enjoyed your power trip, Nadine, cos you cost the town a film.

Give up on the Tina film.

Find other ways to connect with me.

Give up on 'teaching me a thing or two', music faculty: if you could do what I can do, you'd be arrogant as well.

I'm not reconnecting with people that still want…

Another thing that came up after the interrogation began was that a lot of my psychosocial problems came from the competitive elite music school vibe. Haven't been enrolled for 9 years, but the scars remain forever. Hence why they were 100% behind my plan to study at the wānanga.
