Gary reckons we should set up an Upper House in our Parliament to veto bills that contradict He Whakaputanga, Te Tiriti O Waitangi and the Bill of Rights. Then I asked about the system: he reckoned Māori could control their own process, and that the Pākehā representatives should be appointed individuals, with an expertise in human rights.
