Yay for cannabis questions! Boo to Labour for dodging the questions…
Tinetti had a lot of questions to answer today.
Gary said he started attending Parliament when Jacinda became PM; prior to that, he made speeches in a joint costume on Parliament Grounds.

To riff on a later question: No, competition is healthy and my competitors can do what they want without me.
Adjacent to my life is as near as I'm keen on with most artsy folx; reading over my shoulder (and grilling me relentlessly) hasn't endeared them to me.
I achieved the necessary perception shift for me to be me with the Dakumentary, and they can solve their own dilemmas.
Running the club isn't my dream, but it is part of it. I think it's a good base to build a film studio around.

Something for the trans cause: I got an email while setting up my health insurance.
The online form let me tick a non-binary box, but then they said their system only accepts male or female, which pissed me off.
I may have been assigned male, but I think one is typically born as Third Sex.

Repetition for the sake of repetition:
No MA, no collaborating with the uni, no Tina show. No theatre, no cabaret. No.👎 There's no 'always yes' in my kind of improv: it's actually about stubbornness.
For continuity, I'm just renaming Sue to Tina, so the Big Smoke film still makes sense. It's mostly about that musical anyway.
I don't wish to collaborate and that's my choice to make. The solo act and the weed film have been very fruitful, plus I have enjoyed playing with less pressure than a normal 'gig' (although with the added pressure of people spying on me 😤), so that's what I plan to continue doing.
I take my music seriously, but my writing and my ability to capture the zeitgeist is what puts food on my antique desk (I don't have a table in my room).

Got the footage: an hour-long interview between Dakta and the cops about the Welly club, plus another person sharing her story.
A file was corrupted, but Gary reckons that's on his home computer.
The busyness is real - it makes for a convenient excuse when I want to skip gigs, but it's a mountain of work to assemble this doco. - I'm so sick of typing the same shit over and over, and one of the upsides of the club idea is that I could still exclude people from the club. As I say, my dream is them all forming their own clubs, rather than piggybacking off mine. Nothing can persuade me to deal weed until the laws change, and even then I really don't want to deal to anyone who sees me as a drug dealer.
