Ok, Lauren, here's the list of references to me that happened during the 2022 hui.
First up, the very idea of Chloe being there at all was them baiting me after I'd initially told Lucinda that I wasn't keen. Then, she said that she was wearing her drug law reform dress, which was a reference to I Got Lost In Her Arms, and gave a speech that I barely remember (other than feeling yelled at). Second, the first drag act did this whole bit about 'I love the way you clap your hands' -- this, of course, could easily be seen as a reference to Amanda's first talkie, which had been advertised earlier that year.
Third, there were these old guys who were at the far right corner, and almost on stage. I forget the exact joke, but one of the old guys said 'but the joke was on me' -- I took this to be a representation of Don and Harry. Fourth, the second drag act and their song about a neonazi, which was a reference to Glad They Were Playing in the context of Amanda's Transtasia.
Fifth, the standup comedian was wearing a t-shirt that said 'Feminist A.F.' ... this was clearly a reference to a clip from thirtysomething s01e05 that I'd uploaded, and also related to my statements that Jane was transphobic (which she is).
So, those are the references. I can't remember all the 'jokes', but I remember leaving with the distinct feeling that I was supposed to detransition and 'be the best ally ever' - that's an exact quote - plus I was to let Weeded Out happen under their aegis.
Until that evening, I had never met Tory, and knew fuck-all about her. This was how she chose to introduce herself to me, and the fact that my porn feed blew up with increasing pressure to detransition after that evening suggests some type of causal link.
The conspiracy to force me to detransition was real, and I don't want my feelings minimised because Tory doesn't want bad press.
To Tory: Yes, you can probably talk your way out of it ('I wasn't responsible, I'm shocked to hear that this happened'), but nobody's going to buy it. That's what I mean about the Q&A interview. Something that was largely in the shadows suddenly shone on national TV, and my unpacking of that statement seems to suggest that you hold transphobic views. You and Nadine have to front this apology because the hui was your idea.
