I hope retirement is treating you well. That poem about Hipkins was just a total fluke: sometimes a rhyme just pops into my head, and I'm pretty good at stacking rhymes. You did hide away, re: Māori issues, and Hipkins is the same. I joined Te Pāti because the Labour Māori caucus isn't radical enough for me.
The Greens are probably more closely aligned with me politically than Te Pāti, but their style lacks the zing, and I think Rawiri is one of the best speakers in the House. - I wondered if you listened to my letters... apparently you did. I stand by what I said, though you'd have to remind me (I say a lot of things). Anyway, I'm not feeling the love from the Labour government on the gender expression issue, and I'm pretty sure that was one of the topics that I broached. It's affecting my life significantly, as it is very hard to find a job where I can be myself, and only with the central broadcaster editing bulletins in the middle of the night could I come to the office as Amanda.
- I'm glad you like my music. It's nice to have famous fans.
No, the clothes don't alter my behaviour. I have not been diagnosed with DID, and I'm actually as aggressive in women's clothes (but people treat that more favourably in men's clothes ... something Jacinda might agree about).
