Albenga was where the second ATKK office was, so my Dad visited there often. My memory of Albenga was that it had the best gelato of anywhere that we visited. We went to Monaco instead. Here's my report: 7 July 2002.
Dad was going to Albenga so we decided to go across the French border but ended up in Monaco.
So we ended up driving to the nearest parking building. We found an Information centre but because we forgot our passports we couldn't have a Monaco stamp. (We left them in the car).
Then we walked up to a casino. It was a very impressive . Later we were walking on what we thought was the cliff but we discovered it was a hotel.
Afterwards having ventured back to our car we found a set of lifts inside a cave-like rock to our surprise went down instead of up and it went to a shop with a McDonald's attached to it. We had lunch here and I said "I can see why Monaco is such a big tourist attraction."
Later we found a park that had several rides including bungy trampolining and trampolines. Then I had a bad go-cart ride a women explained in the wrong languages (French and German and broken Italian which I couldn't understand).
Then we set off and accidentally landed on the motorway. We were trying to go on the back road.
