I've known Umar since we were in high school, and we've collaborated a few times, so this isn't an unbiased review. This was quite nice. An understated, elegant album. I particularly liked Ayam Didik, and the bass solo in Subete was beautiful.

The flow was natural and unforced, and the album made a lot out of the subtle timbral differences between the saxophones. Lucinda saw them live over the weekend, but I was busy with my coursework.

A art show/museum piece about Palestine. Really interesting; packed in a lot for a room that was tiny. The most interesting part for me...
